Focus: Verbal Autistic Children In this session we aim to understand the root causes of dysregulation and study avoidance in your child, such as communication gaps, sensory needs, or the anxiety that stems from unpredictability. We will work together utilizing the principles of Structured Teaching to design a home environment that will inshallah provide the visual clarity your child needs to feel safe, focused, and ready to learn. We will co-create a personalized starter kit tailored specifically to your child’s special interests. This kit will include a custom study time schedule, educational worksheets, and a sample social story, among other bespoke visual aids, all designed to support both academic engagement and emotional regulation. This session provides the essential materials we will use to coach you in the subsequent Implementation Strategy Meeting. Note for Nonspeaking or Minimally Speaking Autistic Children: If your child is non speaking or minimally speaking, please explore our Visual Supports Design Meet-up.
